1. What BOKA Guide does
BOKA Guide (bokaguide.me) is an independent guide to the Bay of Kotor, Montenegro, run by Andrija. Besides free travel information, I help visitors arrange boat tours, boat taxis, car and scooter rental, transfers, day trips and restaurant bookings with trusted local providers.
Unless clearly agreed otherwise, the service itself (the boat trip, the rental, the transfer) is provided by that local provider, who is responsible for delivering it, holds the required licences and insurance, and applies their own conditions. I will always tell you who the provider is and what their key conditions are before you confirm.
2. Enquiries & confirmations
- Sending an enquiry through the form, email, phone or WhatsApp is free and doesn’t oblige you to book.
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation (email or WhatsApp) with the date, service, price and payment terms.
- Please check the confirmation and tell me straight away if anything is wrong.
3. Prices & payment
- Prices are quoted individually per enquiry, in euros, and depend on season, group size and availability.
- How and when you pay (on the day, a deposit, or in advance) is stated in your confirmation.
- No payment card details are collected on this website.
4. Changes & cancellations
- If you need to change or cancel, message me as early as possible — I’ll do my best to rearrange things at no cost.
- Cancellation and refund rules depend on the provider and are stated in your confirmation.
- Boat trips may be moved or cancelled for weather or sea conditions. The skipper’s safety decision is final; you’ll be offered another date or a refund according to the provider’s policy.
5. Rentals
Car and scooter rental requires a valid driving licence for the vehicle category, a passport or ID card, and usually a deposit. Minimum age, insurance cover and excess are set by the rental provider and confirmed before you book. You are responsible for following local traffic rules, parking regulations and the rental agreement.
6. Safety & responsibility
- Information on this website — opening times, routes, durations, conditions — is a general guide written with care, but things change. Please confirm important details before you travel.
- Answers from the on-site assistant are automatic and may be incomplete; your written booking confirmation always prevails.
- Travel insurance covering activities and cancellation is strongly recommended.
- To the extent permitted by law, BOKA Guide is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent providers, for events outside reasonable control (weather, strikes, road closures), or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
